Our Wellbeing and Engagement Champions network is a team dedicated to supporting our colleagues and inspiring them with engagement initiatives.

Mental Health First Aiders

At PFAS, we prioritise mental well-being by ensuring we have dedicated mental health first aiders trained to provide immediate support and guidance to our employees in times of need.

Virtual Office

This is an optional meeting for you to virtually connect with colleagues at the end of day, have a cuppa/share plans for the week. You may also prefer to listen in whilst completing work in the background. All colleagues are welcome!

PFAS Connect

These are virtual sessions every month to reflect on how we have done as a business but also to shout out about colleaguesโ€™ achievements. We want to recognise and uplift our team members for all their hardwork.

Kudos

We have a brilliant virtual tool on our HR portal called Kudos. This is an interactive form where you are able to commend a colleague for anything from making you smile to going above and beyond the line of duty.

Volunteering Day

Through our Matchable scheme, after working for PFAS for a year, colleagues can manage their own time to take part in a volunteering project. The scheme is designed to contribute to colleagues having a healthy work/life balance and to be involved in a volunteer project that impacts positively on their community or wider area, whilst still delivering our business objectives.

Govox

Govox is a proactive wellbeing and engagement platform, crafted to nurture healthier and more productive environments in both educational institutions and workplaces. Using this data via surveys we signpost colleagues to immediate help and ensure wellbeing is a continuous discussion of support where and when needed.

CPD Fund

As one of our clinicians, we offer Professional Subscription Subsidies that you can use towards clinical training and self-development.

PFAS also offers:

  • Numerous training courses ranging from mentorship to clinical management training.
  • Quarterly PFAS-wide T&D calls and each participatory call will provide you with a CPD certificate.
  • Over 25 optional e-learning CPD modules to complete.

Health Assured

From time to time everyone needs a helping hand and our independent and confidential Employee Assistance Programme (EAP), provided by Health Assured, is always there to support you whenever you need them. Health Assured provides confidential guidance on a range of issues. Anything from stress, bereavement or relationship advice to health and money worries provided by an experienced team of professionals – qualified counsellors, legal advisors and nurses are ready to help.

Moving Day

Moving house is really exciting and can take up a lot of your time, therefore, to help as best we can we are excited to offer one additional day leave for when you move home! Many colleagues have thankfully benefited from this scheme.

Annual Photography Competition

Our annual photography competition gives you the chance to submit your photos for inclusion in the Company calendar. In 2023, our volunteer judges had a very hard task of picking just 13 photos for the calendar from a fantastic number of photos entered!
