With this in mind PFAS have set out to mitigate our unavoidable carbon emissions and do our bit to support reforestation by planting trees in tropical regions around the world.
Why do we plant trees?
We believe that positive action today helps shape a better tomorrow. Trees play a vital role in absorbing carbon dioxide (CO2), one of the leading contributors to climate change. By planting trees, we are not only offsetting our unavoidable carbon emissions, but also contributing to the restoration of critical ecosystems that support biodiversity and climate resilience. It’s a simple yet powerful way to make a lasting impact on the environment and the future.
When do we plant trees?
At PFAS, we like to contribute as often as we can to the IPRS Group forest. We plant trees to celebrate our colleagues birthdays instead of posting a card and also to celebrate when a new colleague joins our team.

Where are our trees?
We plant trees where they are needed most, primarily in the tropical zone. This is because this is where trees receive the most sunlight and where natural conditions are ideal for trees to grow. Therefore, this is where trees can capture the maximum CO2 and at the fastest rate. At the same time, this location is where rainforests host about 85% of all terrestrial species, and where we have the most deforestation, threatening many species on the brink of extinction.

We’re proud that our website is CO2 Neutral. Many people don’t realise it but using the internet and accessing websites uses an extreme amount of CO2, almost as much as the aviation industry due to the extensive network of data centres, transmission systems, and devices used to access it.
Our website is automatically plants trees in our forest to offset all CO2 emissions generated by it’s usage.

Treenation Partnership
IPRS Group is proudly partnered with Tree-Nation, a global platform dedicated to reforestation and carbon offset projects. Through this partnership, we are able to effectively implement our sustainability and tree-planting initiatives, ensuring that our efforts contribute to reforestation where it’s needed most.
